Terms of Service

Effective date: May 9, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Content Management Bridge website and desktop application. By using Content Management Bridge, you agree to these Terms. If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

Service Description

Content Management Bridge is a desktop application for browsing configured content repositories and performing user-directed content transfers. Current connectors include OpenText Content Server, SharePoint authenticated with Microsoft Entra ID, and Windows Filesystem. ServiceNow and additional filesystem connectors are on the roadmap.

Authorized Use

You may use Content Management Bridge only with systems, accounts, files, metadata, and repositories that you are authorized to access. You are responsible for obtaining any required organizational approvals before transferring, copying, exporting, modifying, or deleting content.

Credentials and Access

You are responsible for protecting your credentials, devices, and accounts. When Microsoft Entra ID is used, access is subject to Microsoft identity platform rules, tenant consent settings, administrator policies, and the permissions granted to the app. You should grant only permissions required for your intended use.

Customer Content

You retain ownership of content you process through the app. Content Management Bridge does not claim ownership of files, metadata, or records transferred between systems. You are responsible for verifying transfer scopes, destination locations, duplicate handling, metadata mappings, permissions, retention obligations, and final results.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Content Management Bridge to violate law, bypass security controls, access content without authorization, interfere with third-party systems, distribute malicious code, or perform transfers that breach your organization's policies or contractual obligations.

Third-Party Services

The app may connect to third-party systems such as SharePoint, Microsoft identity services, OpenText systems, Windows operating-system services, or other configured repositories. Those services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and access controls. Content Management Bridge is not responsible for third-party service changes, outages, permission models, or API behavior.

No Professional Advice

Content Management Bridge provides technical tooling for content operations. It does not provide legal, records-management, compliance, or security advice. You should consult qualified professionals and your organization's policies before running regulated or sensitive transfers.

Disclaimers

The app and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Content Management Bridge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, business interruption, or unauthorized transfers arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app or website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
